oh man this sucks so hard. so expensive to fix too. i’m sorry to hear that. could you hire one til you get yours back?
Yeah I’m going to see if I can maybe borrow one from uni or something. not sure yet.
Last night I shot Deep Sea Arcade and I have had a few ups and downs in the process. During the set I went to change memory cards and in doing so, I somehow broke the cf card slot so my camera is now basicallly useless until fixed. Luckily I had enough photos that i didn’t really need anymore but when I went to upload them, about 100 were corrupted or damaged so I can’t even see them. Hopefully I’ve got some good photos and I’ll upload a few later one.
But I will not have a camera for about 4 weeks and I’m also $300 poorer in having to get it sent away and fixed. Even though i haven’t used it that much lately, I’m definately going to notice its gone especially since my major photography project for uni is due in 2 weeks and I still need photos, I’ve got a few bands to shoot in about 3 weeks and I really don’t want to cancel and I wanted to get photos of Vivid Live in Sydney.
So I guess the point of this post was to let everyone know that I’m heaps angry and sad and off absolutely everything and I’m cold. Please give me your camera.
I need new people to follow.
When I was in Bali, we went on this massive bike ride through the country. Going through the villages made you feel like a celebrity because everyone would wave and want to tap your hand etc. It was great. But when you are an unco, trying to steer a bike and take photos with a very heavy camera is not an easy task to do.
Let’s go tomorrow. Or is the deal that I pay, you go and I just get a photo?

Going over my Bali photos is depressing because I now just want to be on holidays again. Someone buy me airfares so I can travel and I will take your picture in return.
